GlassPages: Audio files →
This past weekend on the very, very funny detective show “psych,” the heroes outwitted a receptionist by exacerbating her discomfort: SHAWN: “She’s got a headache. Quick, Gus, whistle something by Philip Glass.” I don’t know how big the overlap is between psych watchers and Glass devotees, but here’s a link to help explain why Gus started whistling...

Moev are apparently working on a new album and have made selected tracks from their previous albums available for stream and download! [CC licensed!] So I’m listening to “No Flash in the Sky” for the first time since I lost my “Head Down” CD.

The BEST Products Showroom Series →
Remember BEST Products?  Sure you do, if you’re old like me.  The ones in our neighborhoods were pretty standard fare as department stores go, but who knew they were such aesthetes? If more stores looked like this, maybe people wouldn’t hate to shop so much.  [Of course, I’m sure the average big-box store’s cookie-cutter identity is part of the key to their...

Adium connects to pretty much everything except MS Live Communications Server, which we use at work.  Wait, am I allowed to say that?  Damn, the backspace key isn’t working!  Oh well. Pidgin, Adium’s analogue on other OSes, has a plugin available to enable this support. I noted this; I hope it gets some love soon.
